The Vlas collection was awarded the Henry van de Velde Habitat award. The Vlas rug collection honours Casalis's birthplace. Kortrijk is a Belgian city on the banks of the Leie. It has a rich history in the linen and flax industry. This new collection is tufted from a unique mix of sustainable materials: Belgian linen and wool yarns for a warm, lustrous surface. Naturally coloured linen and wool, dyed using a sprinkling technique. This gives the rug an elegant, refined look.
